History
TAG was formed in 1999 as a coalition of business leaders in Northwest Washington to assist in navigating the many challenges, advancements, and opportunities that the new and expanding world of technology provided. In 2006, TAG became a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization to advocate for the NW WA technology industry on behalf of our individual and business members. In 2020, after several years of planned expansion of new educational and community programs, Technology Alliance Group for Northwest Washington was formed as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to more accurately reflect the vision, mission, and work that we lead in our community and beyond. A new era of advocacy has begun! Our website now reflects the work of our new 501(c)(3) organization.
