TAG's Security Special Interest Group (SIG) presents:

Information Systems Audit + Opportunity to Recruit Interns for Your Organization

Join us on March 11th for a presentation on information systems auditing at Whatcom Community College. The presentation by Fred Williams, Internal Auditor at Whatcom County, will include auditing of governance, risk management, systems, infrastructure, service delivery, security, and business continuity/disaster recovery.
The focus will be on service operations and how technology auditing can improve those services.

Start thinking about your intern needs now!  Students from Whatcom Community College's Computer Information Systems program will be in attendance.  This is the program that earned a third place result in the Pacific Rim Regional Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition at Microsoft last year.  Internships can be paid or unpaid, and WCC makes it easy on organizations regarding paperwork.

About the Presenter:Fred Williams
Fred Williams, Internal Auditor at Whatcom County, has been involved in auditing for more than 12 years.  He is a business oriented auditor with experience primarily in operational auditing as well as information technology and financial auditing.

TAG's special interest group (SIG) on Security is targeted to people that are interested in advancing their knowledge about information technology security. Special Interest Groups (SIGs) meet to discuss a common interest in a particular topic.
