Join us on November 11 for a presentation by Todd Backman, Senior Network Consultant of Diversint. In his presentation, Todd will discuss

procedures and methods of maintaining accurate data pertaining to your infrastructure's topology, assets, and risk exposures. The presentation will also touch on best practices relating to network and systems logging, time synchronization within your network, and network monitoring.

About the Presenter:
Todd Backman, Senior Network Consultant at Diversint, has been working in the Information Technology sector since the mid-1990s. He has 12 years combined experience in managing Systems Administration, Network Engineering and Information Security within Network Operations Center, Internet Service Provider and high-availability network environments. Todd earned his CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification in April of 2002 and maintains other certifications in Enterprise Backup as well as Security Event Management technologies.

About Diversint:
Diversint, with offices in Mount Vernon, specializes in delivering fiber optic connectivity and ISP services to small businesses in Whatcom, Skagit and northern Snohomish counties. In business since the mid-1980s, Diversint offers system security reviews, small business server management (Windows and Linux) and offers off-site data/information storage as well as certified data recovery services. The company has recently moved to a new location in downtown Mount Vernon, adding secure data vault space and has added web development services to its suite of small business services.
