This presentation will provide a case study of Logos Bible Software's effort to become PCI compliant and focus on the importance of maintaining an open and innovative spirit in an insecure world. This will include a brief discussion of network and application architecture,  general information on the security solutions implemented at Logos, and how security best practices pay for themselves.

About the Presenter:

Jim Straatman is the IT Manager and Senior Web Developer at Logos Research Systems, Inc., the leading publisher of high-end, award winning, multilingual Bible software. He oversees the development and maintenance of large-scale e-commerce and content delivery applications and services. Originally from Seattle Washington, Jim graduated from Western Washington University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. When not at the office, he can be found riding local mountain biking trails.
