This is a friendly reminder for our Scholarship and Holiday Lunch on December 6th. If you are planning to attend please RSVP today! The deadline is December 3rd but we only have a few seats left so please let us know as soon as possible.

Please join us in kicking off the Holiday season on Thursday, December 6th for our year-end scholarship awards program and holiday event. This year the generosity of TAG members and guests has provided five scholarships to students in technology professions at Western Washington University, Whatcom Community College, Northwest Indian College, Bellingham Technical College, and the Whatcom Tech Prep Consortium. This is our way of giving back to our community and supporting the future of technology in our area.

Enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by the the award winning Culinary Arts students of Bellingham Technical College at the BTC restaurant. The menu provides a three course gourmet meal:

Curried-Crusted Ahi Tuna, Asian Greens,
Red Ginger-Soy Vinaigrette

Grilled Lamb Chops with Macadamia-Coconut Crust,
Star Anise Sauce, Wasabi Mashed Potatoes, Gingered Long Beans
--
Chai-Spiced Mascarpone Honey Cake,
Pumpkin Rum Raisin Crème Anglaise,
Wine-Sautéed Pears, Pear Chips, Caramel Stick.

This will be a popular event so please RSVP as soon as possible.The restaurant has a capacity of seating for 40 people, and we ask that you RSVP and make a payment by December 1st, 2007 to reserve a seat. Our members have the first opportunity to RSVP for this event. If you'd like to become a member of TAG you can complete the online application based on your status.

Date and Time: Thursday, December 6 from 12:00 - 1:15 pm.
Location: The restaurant at Bellingham Technical College campus at 3028 Lindbergh Avenue, Bellingham, Washington, 98225. For directions click here.
Cost: $15.00 for members, $20.00 for non-members to cover lunch. Please mail the check payment to TAG, PO Box 5374, Bellingham, WA 98227 or call us to make payment arrangements.

TAG's scholarship program is made possible by generous donations from the local business community and private individuals. We very much appreciate your support this year. Firstly, we thank our Tech Stomp sponsors who generated a net contribution of $1,031 to the 2007 scholarship fund. The presenting sponsors were: Applied Digital Imaging, Banner Bank, Bellingham Business Journal, Black Rock Cable; Logos Bible Software and supporting sponsors: DIS Corporation, Northwest Computer, Whidbey Island Bank, and the WSA.

We would also like to recognize the generous donations made throughout the year to the scholarship fund by: Allen Pemberton, Andy Robinson, Applied Digital Imaging, Arlan Norman, The Socrates Group, Myra Harmer, OpenAccess Network Services, Paul Grey, Robin Halliday, Tom Lenderman and XCache Technologies.
