Educational Programs and Community Events
TAG's educational programs offer you the opportunity to learn from industry experts, and local technology leaders as well as exchange ideas with your peers. You can also expect to make connections and access resources that will help you grow your business or enhance your skills as a technology worker. Whether you are a technology entrepreneur, IT Manager or programmer our educational meetings are designed to offer you valuable and relevant information.
- Monthly luncheons are held on the third Friday of the month at noon. TAG's monthly luncheons feature guest speakers on a variety of business related topics of interest to technology managers/small business owners. They offer great networking opportunities. Typically we allow new members the opportunity to give a '5 minute introduction' before the start of our regular program. Unless otherwise noted we meet at 1315 Cornwall Ave, downstairs in the conference room. The monthly luncheon is open to the public and free for members but we charge a small fee to cover lunch for non-members. We ask that you RSVP a few days prior to the meeting.
- SIG Meetings. Special Interest Groups (SIGs) meet to discuss a common interest in a particular topic. SIGs provide excellent opportunities for developing and maintaining professional contacts, promoting industry awareness and extending the technical knowledge of members. SIG meetings are free to TAG members, unless otherwise indicated. Meetings are held regularly, except during the summer months. TAG currently supports two SIGs. Meetings are held in various locations in Bellingham and are open to the public.
