This is a reminder for Friday's TAG luncheon. Please RSVP by Wednedsday if you are planning to attend.
Dear Members & Guests:
Have you ever wondered how to optimize your product in the most efficient way? Would you like to provide your customers with the best solutions? Please join us on Friday, February 16 to learn about Design Of Experiments (DOE) a very powerful and popular technique used for problem solving, a tool that can give you the competitive edge and help you deliver. This is not only a popular technique with engineers and scientists in R&D but can also be used as a method of solving complex business problems such as process optimization.
We are pleased to invite Bill Kappele, Technical Director of Objective DOE to share his insights. This non technical talk will show you how other companies have successfully used Design Of Experiments to satisfy customers, save time, and increase profits. Three examples from the real world will be presented: designing for quality of printed transparencies at Hewlett-Packard, reducing software testing time and effort at AT&T, and reducing credit card delinquency rates at General Electric.
You will learn about the need to assess the quality of your measurement tools. You will also get a look at how this and Design of Experiments relate to the popular trend towards Six Sigma in Manufacturing, Development, and Services.
This will be a popular meeting so please RSVP by clicking as soon as possible.
Date and Time: Friday, February 16 from 12:00 - 1:15 pm.
Location: DIS building at 1315 Cornwall Ave., Bellingham, WA
Cost: Free for members, $10.00 at door for non-members to cover lunch.
