Dear Members & Guests:2006MayPromo

VoIP (Voice over IP) has enjoyed a significant amount of hype in the marketplace. It was initially viewed as a way to get free phone calls over the Internet and has evolved to being viewed as the technology that will replace the legacy public circuit-switched network. VoIP is clearly more than a  'must have' technology and in preparing for this new future of telephony businesses are evaluating the benefits and drawbacks of making the switch.

This month the Technology Alliance Group (TAG) is very pleased to invite Neal Underwood, the Northwest Area Manager of ShoreTel to help answer your questions about VoIP. Mr. Underwood will focus on the specific communication needs of small business. These unique needs include but are not limited to the ability to add phones, change extensions, and be flexible to grow as the business grows, while keeping costs affordable.

With 15 years experience as a Network Consultant and more recently 5 years working with ShoreTel Mr. Underwood has a lot of experience from VoIP implementations to draw on.
