On March 17 TAG hosted a presentation on "Best Practices in Project Management for Technology Projects" presented by Norm Nielsen a certified Project Management Professional.  Norm Nielsen is the Vice President for professional development for the Mt. Baker Chapter of the Project Management Institute which is the leading professional body in project management. The Project Management Institute has established an international standard (ANSI/PMI 99-001-2000) for professional project management with the goal to generate and promote excellence within the project management field. Norm Nielsen touched on 25 years of experience in project management while focusing on the new international standard for best practices in project management.
